Special emphasis is placed upon David's life and the classrooms of preparation he had to pass through. Also considered are David's call, his anointing, his character and faithfulness to God.
February 7-9…………………………… Dr. Sue Curran PT 912 The Forgiving Church This course is a biblical study of the impact of forgiveness as Jesus taught it. It also analyzes the negative aspect of the impact of collective unforgiveness that hinders the church from fulfilling the purposes of God.
March 6-8………………………………Dr. Keith Johnson PT 563 The Confidence Factor This course explores, explains and demonstrates the many factors that contribute to an individual's confidence level. It discusses the factors that help build or destroy confidence in a way that makes it possible for the student to put specific practices in place to help maximize his life's potential.
April 3-5………………………………. Rev. Greg Hinnant PT 533 A Biblical Study of Marriage, Divorce & Remarriage It is vital that all believers-and especially ministers-understand the Bible's general perspectives and specific commands regarding marriage, divorce and remarriage. This course expounds relevant Old and New Testament scriptures and applies them to a wide array of potential martial scenarios in order to clarify what God wills, commands and recommends.
May 15-17…………………………… Dr. William Suttles PT 547 Applied Hermeneutics: The Ministry of the Word This course seeks to expound upon the methods, both practical and spiritual, of bringing God's word to others in teaching and preaching. It examines the necessary preparation of the minister and of the hearer.
Second Semester
August 7-9…………………………… Dr. Ron Cottle OT 570 Song of Solomon This course is an exposition of the book on a verse- by- verse basis. It also includes an analysis and overview of several of the best known approaches to the book.
September 4-6……………………..Dr. David Baldwin PT 950 Principles of Spiritual Promotion This course addresses ten practical principles based on the first five chapters of Joshua. It compares Israel's crossing Jordan into Canaan to believers' crossing into their Promised Land. The ten principles offer a practical approach for believers to position themselves where promises are realized, prayers are answered and prophecies are coming to pass. These principles also apply to promotion at work, ministry and for life.
October 2-4………………………..Dr. Larry Asplund PT 512 Preparing for Revival This is an exploration of whether or not it is possible to prepare for a sovereign visitation of the Spirit of God to the church, and if so, how to do so. It also seeks to clarify the meaning and significance of revivals and to tell various stories of revivals, both from history and from the present.
November 6-8…………………… Rev. Buddy Barron OT 510 Moses: The Great Communicator This is a study in the field of spiritual communication. Moses, God's great communicator, will be explored as he uses many different ways and means in order to communicate effectively to the nation of Israel.
December 4-6………………………. Dr. Dwayne Lusk PT 550 How To Study The Bible This course is a practical study of proven methods to study the Word of God. It focuses on preparation for study, tools for study, hermeneutics and methods of biblical study. It is designed to enrich one's personal study habits.
