About the Healing Teams

For those in our community (the Central Savannah River Area) who are hospitalized, in nursing homes or homebound because of illness,  Whole Life Ministries has established Healing Teams that go into homes or medical facilities to minister one-on-one to those who are ill.

Healing Teams are comprised of three or four members who have completed an extensive training course on healing and who have demonstrated a lifestyle of prayer and a desire to see healing come to those who are sick.

My ten year old niece was in a coma as a result of spinal meningitis and had been
given less than forty-eight hours to live.  After the healing team visit, she awoke

from her coma, completely healed.   She returned to school and is doing great.”  L.K.

Acceptance in the Medical Community

Healing Teams are welcomed in every hospital in Augusta and Central Savannah River Area and are well received by the medical community.  They work hand-in-glove with medical professionals and are respected for the integrity of their ministry.

To Request a Healing Team Visit

As a act of faith, those who are ill may contact the Administrative office of Whole Life Ministries by call (706) 737-4530.  If the patient is unable to call, the request may be made by a close family member.  Requests will not be accepted from friends or others who are unrelated to the patient.

Healing Teams Build Faith

The goal of the Healing Team is to teach individuals what God says in His Word about healing in order to build his/her faith to receive their healing.  Following the presentation of the Word, team members offer to lay hands on the individual and pray for him/her in accordance with James 5:13-14.

“My son was in critical condition as a result of a house fire on Christmas day.  He suffered from a collapsed lung, extensive smoke inhalation, a wound on his head and was in a coma.  Doctors said he was’ as near death as possible without actually being buried.’  Within a few days after the Healing Team prayed for him, he was released from the hospital and continued recuperating at home.  In April he returned to school and is doing well.”
